The 2026 International Symposium on Artvin, Language, History, Culture and Civilization will be hosted by Artvin Çoruh University on 22–24 October 2026 at the Nihat Gökyiğit Congress and Cultural Center (Artvin, TÜRKİYE).

HOW TO GET TO ARTVIN?

Transportation by Air

The nearest airport to Artvin city center, where the symposium will be held, is Rize–Artvin Airport. There are direct flights every day of the week from İstanbul and Ankara to Rize–Artvin Airport. From the airport, transportation to Artvin city center (114 km) is available via Havaş shuttle services.

In addition, participants may reach Artvin by renting a car or using intercity bus services from Trabzon Airport and Erzurum Airport. The distance between Trabzon and Artvin is 227 km, while the distance between Erzurum and Artvin is 194 km.

Transportation by Road

There are direct intercity bus services from İstanbul and Ankara to Artvin. The main bus companies operating these routes are Lüks Artvin Seyahat and VIB Turizm.
